He,he,he, sweetie now you are trying to embarrass me!
I was 39 when I began taking an interest and read a few books about Islam.
Then at 41, after I was married and living in Egypt I decided to take instruction in the Qu'ran and the tenents and five pillars of the Islamic faith.I began attending masjid, to the surprise of my husband,in March 2007.
As you may know there is a lot to learn and one day inashAllallah I hope to get proficient enough in learning Arabic script to be able to read the words of Our Beloved Prophet pbuh and His Message in the language in which it was written.
Already I can understand that some of its beauty is lost in translation.
Before that time I had read the Holy books, and works relating to all the main Religions but nothing seemed to fill a void in me that I covered by declaring myself as agnostic.

I'm Agnostic/Atheist. There isn't one day or one year that I became an atheist. It happened over a number of years. I questioned what I was taught in church even at a young age. I'd say about 17 is when I really started to really seriously question my beliefs. By the time I was 22 or so, I was leaning more towards atheism than towards theism.

Dear I was beaten and locked into a broom cupboard for day's without food as a young girl until I promised to convert to believe in God and love the baby Jesus to become a sheep in Gods flock. I was baptized into the Baptist church. A real Lady never discloses her age dear.

No website, merely experience: most "converts" to Christianity are 20 or younger. This "most" is by no means all. But this would put an "average" age at 25, maybe. Then there's the prodigal child: conversion or rededication?

I was born with this religion and i am afraid religion is not the only key to salvation. I couldnt change it because it had been handed out from our generation to generation. I strongly believe that it is not religion that will save you. God is not selective in regards to religion but its how you lived your life on earth that count most. Can anybody tell me the right religion that will save my soul? Did God told anybody that this is the religion that will surely saveyour soul?If ill change my religion isnt it that its like telling my parents and great grand parents they wronged and they are not save now? It is our faith that can save our soul and not by religion. This is my faith and belief.

At sixteen I sort of converted to the nonreligion I have now. Due to years of Bible study; and then reading a book on embryology, that pretty much did it.
