I have a neutered 2 year old lab/mix. He has NEVER done this before. The other day, we took him to the beach, and he peed on this lady 2 times! Yesterday, he TRIED to pee on me when I was on the floor with the baby. Anybody know why and what I can do to get him to stop this bad behavior?

My n/m choc field Lab has peed on me twice and a stranger once. All 3 times were at the dog park and he was marking me as his territory so all the other dogs would know. Marking is a territory/dominance thing so he might be marking you as his since the baby interferes with his relationship with you or he is asserting his dominance. If he tries it inside YELL NO! If this is one symptom of dominance get him trained and start the NILIF/No Free Lunch Method which is basic knowledge all dogs should do. Toby has not tried to pee on me since the second time(I caught him, the first time he got away with it) when I yelled at him and since he was leashed gave him a correction. I have kept an eye on him at the park and he hasn't attempted peeing on a person again but the guy has never been back. Also a bi**h in season owned by the lady would make her smell like an in heat girl too. Even n/m mark when around females in heat.

So I am not d only person that dogs want to pee on!!! I feed three stray dogs on the beach everyday. Just about 6 months ago another stray came for food while I was feeding the three.
Suddendly one of the male dogs lifted up its leg and peed on my arm. Then it started to growl and attack the new stray. I was very angry and I whacked the male dog. My friend told me that the dog was claiming its territory and ownership.
The only way to stop this is to smack him immediately he does this and with a firm voice say *NO* don`t do it. It has never happen again after this. Hope this will help.

This is dominant behavior and needs to be stopped immediately. The dog needs to learn that he is not the lead dog there, you are. Starting now, rules should change. He should not be allowed in or out doors first, he should not be allowed to eat without permission. No sleeping on the bed. When you walk him, he needs to stay beside you or behind you. Especially with the baby. He should always be taught to walk behind the stroller or anything the child is on. He should not be allowed to approach the child unless invited. Right now, he should not be allowed in the room with the baby. Dominance like that can lead to aggression. I'd also have the dog checked by the vet to be certain there is no physical reason why he is urinating innapropriately. You might consult a professional trainer to work on this problem if it doesn't get corrected quickly.
