I've been hearing this a lot, but how can it be known that he is everywhere, since it would be impossible to measure something that overlaps reality completely, how can religious people claim this as fact?

I have faith that God is there. He is all around us. He is our father and who created us. I am 40 and it was hard for me to understand the same question when I was younger. I just lost my 17 year old son and God was with me. He was my baby. I cannot get thru everyday without God. Just believe. Although you cannot see something doesn't mean you can't believe. You can't see faith. You will later in life look back as see when and where God was there with you. May God bless you.

Firstly, God is too big to be COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD by man's limited mind. Then, the bible is the Christian's reference point and in it (especially Psalms-check 139) we get to know that he is everywhere...
Secondly, He is a Spirit and in His omnipresence, He is not limited to time and space like we are. He is with Joe in Asia and at the same time with Clara in Europe.
Thirdly, Faith is what helps you believe the not-completely understood aspects of life.
God is.

That is one of the main reasons that God has no been proven/disproven. If God is everything in the Universe then you can't go to a different place to measure it.

It would be much easier to find a place that God is not. Prove that He is not somewhere! It is equally impossible. So to answer your question in a weak but powerful way, is that you accept it by faith or you don't.

the problem with us humans is that we think god is like ourselves,we cant be everywhere so he cant either,but that's wrong.none of his aspects r like ours.if u say hes somewhere then u mean another place is empty of him and it isn't.he has no body so we can't point at him and say where he is.he is unlimited

God has a great great ability to see all of His creatures because God created us and he knows what we are doing in mystery and publicity ..

When somebody dies, God is there.
When people are ill, God is there.
When people get married, God is there.

Because He knows every thing you carry in your heart n your mind. Nothing is hidden from God.
Every time Enemies of Prophet Mohammad had a meeting and talked some plan against Prophet, God would send Angel to tell Mohammad all what his enemies planned. When any one accepted Islam on face from Mohammad but really came for spying, God told Mohammad that this person is a liar and didn't accept Islam by heart. He is a spy to find your defence plans to inform your enemies. So Prophet could be careful not to speak in presence of some men. Mohammad said some thing to his one wife and said keep it a secret. She told to another wife and God told Mohammad that your one wife has told the secret to your another wife. God kept him informed of all what was going on around him to protect him from all kinds of plots against him. That is how he survived from the plots of Jews, atheists of Mecca. A Jewish woman who invited Mohammad to eat and put poison in food to kill Mohammad. God's Angel came right before he was about to put morsel in his mouth and stopped him from eating it. His one companion already ate one morsel and died instantly in front of Mohammad. He walked away and never again accepted invitation of another Jew.
Now you will say all these stories are lies created by Muslims.
Can a liar be so devotedly believed by 1.3 billions people from every country, language, culture, color, race and nation. Most Muslims are ready to give their lives for Islam.
Do you find this in any religion. Remember when Romans arrested Jesus and were taking him to crucify, not a single Jew amongsts the companion of Jesus came forward to fight against Romans. They all dispersed to save their own skin. When every time atheists of Mecca came to kill Muslims and Mohammad, his companions out of love for Mohammad surrounded him and took arrows on their back to protect Mohammad. Muslims have such a love and devotion for Islam and Mohammad. Even Christians today are converting as Muslims in every Christian country just by reading about him written by non-Muslims.
