After reading your little post I will assume that you love your boyfriend for his personality mostly. The hottest guy in school was always the most dumb anyone would meet. Your boyfriend is not.

most likely the guys you come in contact with muscles are not very mature or are very arrogant. . a lot of people in general let physical characteristics, jobs, etc. define who they are.
I think every single girl that I have dated said they were never interested in a guy with large muscle until they meet me. but I am not the typical muscle head either. I cover up and wear baggy clothing, I don't take my shirt off every possible chance I get to show off my body, I'm the exact opposite. I hate people looking at me and making comments about my physique. I don't think I've worn a tank top in public since '87 and I never talk about the gym or fitness unless someone else asks me a question. It's what I do to help earn a living, it's not who I am.

Sometimes nerdy dudes are awesome, and in many cases they make great boyfriends. Hot guys can be over-rated. I've been with the "hot dude that everyone wants" and I find that they are usually so caught up in their own looks that they are under-developed in every other way. You can never tell how a person will be by how they look, but I also think that "ugly" is subjective.

Not at all! No I didn't read the article you refer to, but I too, am one of those women who is attracted to the less than hunky guys. I mean who wants to compete with their man for mirror space anyway? If a guy has more cosmetics than you do, get rid of him! That's my rule. Besides, the way a person treats you can make them soooo attractive, regardless of their actual appearance.

No, it's not strange.
Huge, muscular guys just look nasty and artificial.
And beauty is relative. A person might be beautiful or handsome in her or his own right, but next to someone else, she/he might just look okay.
Beauty is also fleeting. If that's all a person has going for them, then Heaven help them.
I'd take an okay looking person with a good heart and who knows how to treat me well over a drop dead gorgeous, one who thinks they're all that, any day.

Hee hee... I looked at this question because I've actually always wondered this question since I was in high school, it was many years ago, but I have always thought about this. In high school you would see a girl that would make you cream your pants, and then you would see her locking lips with a guy that made you not want to eat for a week because he is so quazi modo x10. I never understood it, but.. hey.. people like who they like i guess... right?

It shouldn't be. Everyone has their own preferences and opinions of attraction. Often I hear my friends comment on a girl being attractive while I feel differently, it is just a matter of natural opinion.
