mate sony do not sell 80gb PS3 here in the UK. If you do want to buy one then you will have to seek for an online retailer abroad which is willing to ship them to the UK.
but for the time being in the UK, you can only get the 40gb and 60gb. The 60gb is not being made anymore and is running out, so buy one now if you want one. It also plays ps2 games and is the same as 80gb just less storage space.
If you havent got any PS2 games then buy the 40gb ps3. simple, but the 40gb has only 2 usb ports, and no multi card reader and no backwards compatibility. cheaper too.

there was a 60gb but these are getting rare now.
if sony said no i would trust them rather then ebay any day.

There is in the US, not in the UK (only 60GB or 40GB)
