Family said a 10 feet tall cat tree would be best.
Willing to go to the price of $150
Have 2 cats. The older one likes to be very tall : ). The kitty prefer being medium tall. So a little condo would be nice.

Also the cat tree needs to be able to get scratched.

There are many companies that sell these online, or most pet stores have them, too. Another good place is a cat show. There are usually vendors at the cat shows that sell all sorts of neat stuff. Some cat magazines like Cat Fancy have ads for cat trees and also information about cat shows. You might be able to find a pattern somewhere so you could build your own if you're a little handy and save $$.

I've gotten a 6' tree for $150 from the pet supplies place, haven't seen any taller than that at any stores here but I HAVE seen taller ones at a few cat shows.

The prices are usually a little higher than $150 for that height though. Be careful with the size--measure the width of the door it has to go through and check if you have to take it around corners, we barely got the base of ours through the side door. Sometimes the makers of these things don't consider that these have to get into someone else's house and not all doorways are standard sizes.

grab a three foot ladder and be certain that the kittie has a number of of love and stuff to delight in after being rescued! Then flow to a house Depot and seem around for an extremely small chain observed. purchase this and shrink down the tree! And lecture Ms Fluffy Wuffy in actual fact approximately how your little coronary heart replaced into breaking into tiny little products on an identical time as she replaced into caught interior the three foot tree! i've got faith for you! Alot of cat trees are well over $200 the taller you want them and even more costly if there are extra levels, beds, hiding spots, etc.

You might have really good luck with building your own tree for them. Not only will you save money and give your cat an amazing play item but you would have built it yourself making it that much more amazing. ;-)

If you are really gung-ho about buying one you might want to check out http://www.stepsforpets.com/?gclid=CL2XsvDx948CFQGoIgodeyW0Gw and see what kinds of designs are available. It never hurts to ask if they have taller models available and, worse comes to worst, you could try for ceiling extenders which securely holds something to the floor/ceiling with a spring and allows it to adjust easily.

Good luck. :-)

Go to ebay. They have a LOT of choices. I can't remember the prices though, it's been awhile since I've been on there.
Good luck
