There are several programs available for copying CD's and DVD's. Depending on the type of copyright protection used, some programs work, some don't. I have one called CloneDVD, works on just about all copyright algorithms.

Tons of those, Hollywood certainly fail to do what they say they should do, although I once overheard they did manage to shutdown the guys behind DVD X Copy.

There is a program called clone dvd2 it says it burns unprotected dvds but i have it and it also burns protected dvds.

A bunch of different ones.
Rip to avi/mpeg/etc to make it easier to chill & watch stuff vs scrapping with the DVDs all the time.

AnyDVD.
It runs in the background and fools the comp into believing the DVD isn't protected.

you'll want 2 programs: dvd decryptor and dvd shrink.
