for example; if i'm from China i will believe in reincarnation, if i'm in in India i believe in Ganesh and all that stuff, why are there so many faiths if most people say Christian faith is the real faith, aren't we people just ment to have different faiths, but actually we are all wrong and don't know the real faith?
ps: im not trying to be a moron, i just want to know how other people think of this?

there is only one belief with different interpretations and shades.
and that is your challenge, search, get informed and then make your mind
That is why god give us a brain, after all .And He will hold us accountable based on its use and usage (i.e children, animals are not accountable for "sin" )

First, because we as humans don't want to admit that we are not "it".Therefore, we have to have a god that fits into our desired way of living and thinking.

However, God gave us Truth.

For example, I believe the Bible to be Truth. In the context of that Truth, those who do not believe in the existance of God are called fools.

That does not mean they are unintelligent, non-compassionate individuals. It does not mean that they are not productive members of their respective societies. Usually, its quite the contrary. However, if the Bible is true, and I believe it is, otherwise I would look for the truth eslewhere, all people must accept the gift of salvation that comes ONLY through Jesus Christ. To do otherwise will mean an extremely uncomfortable eternity.

Hope ya'll make the right choice!!!!

Most, if not all, religions teach the same set of moral precepts, the same set of divine attributes, the same root cause of evil, the same essential solution to the problem, the same core religious experiences, the same basic methods for attaining those religious experiences, the same ideas on the immortality of the soul, and the same concept of judgment and consequences for the present life lived on earth. Most have also produced the same core philsophical paradigms, the same initiatory rites, the same sacramental observances of certain rites of passage in the life of the individual, the same cosmological myths, and the same catalogue of religious symbolism.

So similar are the many religious traditions on earth that the less informed reader will often imagine connections where there are none. People who are familiar with Judaism and Taoism will conclude that the two have a common origin. People who are familiar with Christianity and Hinduism will imagine that Jesus spent time in India and brought its teachings back. I have read books connection Judaism with Plato, Judaism with Hinduism, Christianity with ancient Egyptian rites, Islam with Ebionite Christianity, Roman Catholicism with Buddhism, and more. The truth is that religion is a fundamental psychological reaction to certain basic elements of human understanding. Religions appear similar because they are all denominations of the same faith, not because they all have a common origin.

Religion is a deeply personal thing held within each of us, and so everyone will have a different interpretation of what that means. To some it means a singular male god, to others it's a philosophy to enlightenment, or an entire pantheon of deities. Each religion is based on one person's experience with their own spirituality, communicated to others who have similar mind-sets. They're all different because we as human beings are all different.

In my belief, all the different religions are simply different paths to the same force. I know that some agree with me, and I also know that a lot don't. And that's okay, because everyone having their own ideas about their faith is part of the beauty of it all.

Religions are all just paths to the same God. It's up to you which path you take. There are so many different ones because there are so many different people in the world. How could we all follow one faith when we don't even speak the same language?

There is only one GOD ,in Islam god send messengers to earth to guide people to faith ,Adam was the first, some people believed and others not,as time passed faith was weak and forgotten so another prophet was sent and so on ,through those 5times people interpreted faith sometimes wrongly and of course they had their followers,so many branches of belief appeared ,Noah,Abraham,Jacob,JESUS,MOSES finally MUHAMAD peace to be upon all of them .
religion is ONE but sent as steps or chain rings or a home was built and was only one block missing to be completed it was Muhamad.
In Islam,JESUS,MOSES and MUHAMAD(ptut )are all three great prophets build one great building that is faith but gradually ,GOD after every step watched human what was misunderstood,or magnified by man more than GOD will,or interpreted badly or twisted from context and completed that and sent book which will never be clanged to end of world That is Quran.
read it ,do not look to bad behavior of some Muslims or media read it i is translated and kept by ALLAH from man's own change

Geography and political influence over the centuries has meant many varying beliefs ,mostly with the same root principles of righteousness being the key to salvation and evil the road to damnation.
I would say that Islam is the only religion that doesnt follow this criteria ,as it is the only religion that encourages practises outside of the accpeted code of morality and chooses to spread its word by force. On this basis we could actually say that this is the work of evil.An event prophesized in the bible.i.e the rising of the beast(revelations)

you asked and I will tell you what I believe, there is only one god and one religion since god created us , there are only 3 right religions 2 has been changed by man but its not all changed and the last religion who came to correct them and say the final word....the 3 religions are, Judaism,Christianity, and Finlay Islam ...if you go through all these 3 religion you will find that it came from one source with slight differences ...but these slight differences becomes main and important believes of each religion which makes the struggle between them...but for all other religions we Muslims with all respect we don't believe that it came from god and that why we call it believes and traditions for other cultures as you mentioned...

As there are people alive, so are there as many people who might see god a certain way.

This was no different for the ancients.

People who think their religion is the "only correct" one aren't respectful of diversity. Thinking that "you are correct and everyone else deserves to burn in Hell for their beliefs" is disrespectful in the extreme -- even if such disrespect is hidden by supposed "love for thy fellow man".

Tolerance is a virtue, it's too bad the 10 commandments forgot the mention that.

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written. The just shall live by faith.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath showed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
