Leave the Devil alone. No one has any proof that the Devil did anything to anyone. The only thing that the Devil has done is egg you on, not stop you from doing something stupid, or make a bad situation or choice tempting. "Devil made me do it" is used as an excuse to not own up to whatever stupid things people did with their own free will.

I think the Devil needs to get a lawyer and sue people for defamation of character.

Edit:
If you have a problem with the Devil, stop hanging around him/her. Who you chose as your company is on you, not the Devil or others, just you. The Devil will never tell you no, so your decision is up to you.

There is a very interesting scripture that equals living humans to vessels in house of old. Some of these were for clean water, olive oil, grain, and refuse of various kinds.

The simile is used to exemplify how God puts each thing to use accordingly to its cleanliness. In this way, a holy person is used for holy purposes, an unholy and wicked person is used to accomplish whatever God wants done so that once accomplished the vessel may be gotten rid --- and good riddance.

Thus though Satan is opposed and an enemy of God, he may at times be used as a tool of vengeance -- avenging someones notorious deeds. Satan is most happy to kill and maim so when God's protection is removed from someone this may easily happen.

But calling Satan God's hit-man is not correct. God is perfectly willing to execute the wicked himself. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah!

God is much to be feared over Satan as far as executing the wicked. Realize that Satan loves the wicked so that he much prefer killing the righteous.

The opening chapter of the book of Job certainly describes it something like that.

"11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.

12 The LORD said to Satan, Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger. Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD."

Great question.

God obviously need Satan, or else where would he put the "sinners"?

God needs Satan as much as Satan needs God. It appears to be a business relationship.
