It does make sense. Ok there is the nature side of the argument but why do men just think its ok to sleep with lots of girls just to boost there own ego

the only time when they stop this selfish behavior is when they have offspring but thats selfish too because they are only caring for their own. Im adopted and my dad is totally selfless because he brought up another guys child without having any of his own.

Wow only 26 minutes into the question and look at answers, you really rattled their cages didn't you.

I don't think you can generalise about these matters. Men do seem more selfish but I have seen women who are worse.

In olden days it was easy for men to be selfish, because they just banged out babies and the poor woman had to look after them.

In higher society it wasn't much different, the men held the ace card. The women were supposed to stay at home and chat with their women friends, embroider and look after the household, while the man went off sowing his wild oats.

These day however, although the trait does still exist I think woman have more say in what they want. They need not have one baby after another, they can have a career and they can do just as the men do if they want to. So it has improved a little bit.

Men and women are two entirely different species. We should not be both categorized as "humans", but rather as civilized human animals (women) and uncivilized human animals (men).

Women are emotionally driven, and men are logically driven, so when we think they are being jerks to us, they are actually reacting on their instinct.

What may hurt a woman deeply may not even effect a man.

When we are deeply analyzing things, they are already convinced they are right.

This does not mean men are bad. It means that men are different.

They do think of themselves first, because back in the caveman days, where current man developed from, they would have to be the ones who survived so that they could take care of the women, who beared children, who kept the clan going and surviving.

Their survival was imperative.

Men think of themselves, also, because instinctively, one man can fertilize 20 women during his lifetime (or more, lol), and therefore it is imperative that he survive.

Okay, enough of the scientific mumbo-jumbo, I'd like to also say I agree. Men do seem to think of themselves far more than the feelings of women and that I don't always understand it either, but I do know this...the more you run after him and the more you pursue him about it, the less he's going to be on your side or willing to help you out.

I really hope this helps.

Don't generalise. Sexism is not acceptable from anyone.

Men may think about things in different ways than women sometimes, but they do not think only about themselves. Sure, some might, but some women might too, they are selfish pricks and NO reflection on an entire gender!

not all men think this way. I'd like to think of myself as one of these men. I dont always think of myself... but it is human nature for all (men and women) to look for number 1. Look at the persons child hood. That would tell you why.

You might want to ask women the same thing. More often then not, you are waiting on a girl who didn't have the common descency to be ready on time. If thats not thinking more about your self then others then I don't know what is.

Because that's how the real world works. If we were sitting in the house changing nappies and hoovering all day, it would be much easier to be idealistic.

women can be just as bad, if not worse. Depends on the person. It's really unfair to stereotype, you just gravetate torwards the wrong kind of guy I guess.

They don't - that's just the general view of society aiding stereotypes. People assume things too often. Everyone is unique.
