Kind of a stupid way of putting it. Im not sure how to ask. My brother had testicular cancer. Spread I believe. He's receiving chemo treatments now. He had the procedure done.. but I dont know what to expect.. What is the most likely scenario.. Will he die.. eventually can this kill him?.. I obviously dont want that to happen.. but I need to know..

Cancer is horrible - but no, not every one dies from it.
I'm a two-time survivor and I don't plan on dying until I'm very very old. :)
Testicular cancer can be cured, and it sounds as though your brother is aggressively treating it.
Maybe you can talk to his doctor and ask her your questions. It helps alot to talk to someone who knows your brother and can tell you the truth.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your brother.

Studies have been done on people who were diagnosed early with cancer and treated early. These people mostly outlived those who were never diagnosed with cancer.

This statistic is not a fluke. It is easy to understand why. It is because cancers detected and treated early are usually cured. Along with that cure is a wakeup call to a changed life--smokers stop smoking, overweight people drop that weight and reduce the cholesterol, and the list goes on and on. Along with this treatment there are numerous scans, opinions from dozens of doctors, exams, and revalations about every little health problem you might have, and recommendations to fix them.

You may know that, Lance Armstrong, the person who won many bicycle races in France, had a late treatment and he is an icon for surviving this type of cancer.

I hope this news gives you hope.

People are totally cured of cancer every day. When I was diagnosed I asked the same question because we seem to only hear about the negative aspects and never hear about the positive.Think about Lance Armstrong who had advanced testicular cancer and is now fine. His type of cancer is the most curable of all types and I would expect the same results for your brother.Bear in mind that the psychological impact on him will cause some unusual reactions that will gradually diminish.

theres no way for anyone on this site to answer that.. to get the closest thing possible to an answer you will have to talk to his doctors... cancer is usually either almost certainly going to kill you, or you have a long battle to beat it, or option three u caught it very early and are almost vertainly going to live.... im guessing your brother probably falls into the second category and has a long battle especially if it has spread... but it doesnt mean he is going to die, but as for a specific answer you have to talk to his doctors and see how bad it is , how much it has spread, how his immune system is reacting to the therapy.. all of that, but good luck with everything

Cancer is horrible. I would hope no one has to die from it. Some people do however. Seems like they would have discovered a better way to treat it.
