Wait, you're in 8th grade, and your boyfriend bought you a $780 necklace? That is one committed boyfriend.
I think that it really depends on how much you like them. Sure, a guy can give you a necklace that expensive, but gifts shouldn't be the thing that holds a relationship. It should be from the heart. A gift would be a display of that affection or an enhancer rather than the affection itself.

its not love.... money does not mean love
and if u r going to a different school, you should leave him cuz it wont work out.. u dont have a car neither does her nor are you the right age...
you need to act like your age
and not try to be 25 or 30
seriously
sorry but that is the harse truth

Long distance relationships rarely work out, and at your age, you'll probably go through many more relationships before finding "the one". Your best bet is to (first) let the old one go, in a nice way so that you can remain friends at least, and then date the new guy who lives by you that you can actually be with.
Whatever you do, don't just "cheat" on the first boyfriend, thats not a good habit to start.

uhh look, you're only in 8th grade. there's tons of other guys out there, so don't commit yourself to anyone until you feel the time is right. but if you really fall in 'love' with another guy at your new school, i suggest you come clean with your boyfriend, and you'd have to choose. but if you love your boyfriend just cuz he bought you a 780 dollar trinket, then i think you should ask yourself if you really love him.

Well the fact that you are already planning to like someone else shows what you are made of. You should just continue gold digging like you are, and seek someone that will buy you an $800 gift. I guarantee you will soon forget your Oregon "shuggah dadio and replace him with California Gold. Keep digging Goldie!

what you need to do is go get your necklace appraised. there is no way an 8th grader bought you a 780 dollar necklace.

well, if you are uncomfortable with "backstabbing" your boyfriend, then dont. give it some time. in fact, if you are that faithful, ask your boyfriend how he would feel about you being with someone else. if he approves, go for it! if not, wait a little longer, then slowly but surely make your move. :)
