If I am interested in a guy, and I believe he is interested in me too. What would the dating range be for that? (I am eighteen, already graduated..If that makes a difference) What would be the highest age for me to date? We work together, we have a lot in common, he makes me laugh and smile, and I do like him a lot. To my knowledge he is not interested in sex, he just wants to get to know the person. Also, I have no idea if he is interested in me or not.. I think he is... What are definite signs that he is interested?

I forgot to mention that he is kind of older then me.. So, should I base it on our connection? Or the age? Because honestly I have no problem with the age difference, it's just my friend seems to think there's a problem with it... And how do you know exactly if the guy likes you or not, because I don't want to wait for him to make a move, or be shot down if I make a move.. I don't want it to be awkward at work, but I don' want my fear of it being awkward stopping me.

Age is just a number. I know it sounds cliche, but age doesn't matter much as long as you have things in common, can connect, can sustain interest, talk about the things you both like and have a good exchange. There is no age limit as far as I am concerned. If you like him, don't let the age difference stop you. As far as finding out if he likes you, look for subtle signs. You should be able to tell. If you think he likes you, he probably does.

At your age I would probably suggest that you make your choices on based on simmilar experiences. I could say an age range of 3-4 yrs. older but an 18 yr. old out of highschool would be better dating a 22 yr old that has had similar experiences in relationships than dating a 20 yr. old who has been married and is now separated or divorced.
