A renal mass is a collection of cells within the kidney forming a "mass" or "lump" of tissue that is not normally present within the kidney.

Apart from cancers (benign and malignant) there are other causes including granuloma and infection.

Same as other responses, my Mum was diagnosed with a renal mass in May. It was cancerous and spread to her liver and lung. If you need more info please contact me.

A tumor (mass) on your kidney. Can be benign (not cancer) or cancerous.
