Because they are ignorant. And they are ignorant because they have been misled by the Christian leaders.

Those laws concerning gays NEVER applied to non-Jews. The reason that Jewish men (not women) were forbidden from homosexuality is because it "spilled seed" in other words, had no possibility of procreation. THAT was the "sin" involved, NOT the homosexual acts themselves. This law never even applied to Jewish women, because we have no "seed" to spill.

It is exactly the same situation with masturbation. The "sin" there was the spilling of seed, no chance of procreation. Not the act of masturbating itself, not sex. And again, this never even applied to Jewish females. Again, because we have no "seed" to spill.

This is because we are/were a very small population, and when a Jewish male "spills seed" it is literally said by our sages to be murder - the murder of future generations of Jews that could have been.

Once again, these laws NEVER EVER applied to non-Jews. There were no penalties nor punishments for non-Jews who did these things, ever. They ONLY applied to Jewish males.

Then Christianity came along, and in its attempt to take over and wipe out Judaism, told its followers (non Jewish followers) that these laws DO apply to them (when they never did) but that Jesus freed them from the laws of the "Old Testament".

This is a blatant lie. Nobody can be freed from something they were never bound by in the first place, now can they. There isn't anything to be freed FROM in that case. Jesus didn't free non-Jews from anything in the Torah (Old Testament). You were never bound by these laws. Ever.

The ONLY laws that non-Jews have ever been obligated to follow in the Torah (Old Testament) are the 7 Noahide Laws, or otherwise known as the 7 Universal Laws because they are found naturally in just about every culture around the world, in every era. They are:

1. Do not murder
2. Do not steal
3. Do not curse the name of your God
4. Do not commit idolatry
5. Do not commit adultery
6. Do not tear the limb from a living animal to eat it (this is a prohibition against cruelty to animals)
7. Do create courts of law to uphold these laws for a fair and just society for all members.

I hope this helps you out a bit.

Christians use Romans 1:26,27 and also 2 Timothy 3:16 and true Christians do not deny gays their basic human rights. That is the choice they make in the way they live and that's their right, we just let them know God's feelings and laws on the matter to warn them of God's judgment toward such behavior.

in case you do not care what human beings will say, i truly see no longer reason on your question. If those illustrations are something you intend to be rid of once you're taking a spouse, it truly is a fantastically solid wager that you've already got self belief on your coronary heart of hearts that it is faulty. God bless you.

Technically, it is not OK for us to follow the rules and views of anything post. Things change, people change to adapt. This is why you don't see dudes burning firstborn lambs to satisfy deities. Not much we had back then was safe or good in the eyes of us now (11 yo kids working hot iron presses). People in the future will think we were in harsh conditions also.
It's not about how Christianity was 2000 years ago, it's about what it is to you now.
Be who you are,
Give what you got to give...
What is Christianity to you?

Yes make sure to quote Leviticus, except those laws we don't like anymore, like eating restrictions, clothing restrictions, let's all cherry pick along.

OOO good point. I'm sure they will think of a way to justify it, but I've always said if you're going to follow one of those laws, follow them all. (((((Zilla)))))
