Me, too. I know that we are eternal spirits having a physical experience. I have been out of body too many times to not know that. I run entities out where ever I go. My dad visited me the second he died. I know life goes on, but I do not believe in a god. I even had a soul piece come back to me that left due to a horrible experience when I was young. Weird seeing yourself face to face and then rejoining. But, then I was whole afterward. Religion has played on the paranormal or spiritual, however you like to term it, until it is rejected by all. Sad, because it is real and it is what we are. Just no god to go with it. I don't like chasers anyway. lol
Spiritual beings that are Atheist. The way we were meant to be. Religion screwed it all up by throwing a god into the works. We weren't meant to worship a god or be controlled by the concept of one. It was an ingenious idea of some mastermind to control the population.
When christians have a "miracle" they don't realize that they did it themselves. Hence, why some prayers are answered and some aren't. It's all up to the one praying. You answer your own prayers, or you don't.

I'm an atheist. I do not believe in a soul that survives the body, so that limits the paranormal considerably-no ghosts, spirits, etc. Now I'm sure that some people have experienced things that they cannot explain. That doesn't, however, mean that there is no explanation other than the supernatural/Paranormal (same thing as far as I can tell). As I've said before, all that natural means is that we know it exists.

I happen to believe in Our Creator.
However, I also think a lot of religious groups try to limit or make God into what they want him to be and as a result ignore a lot of the Bible they are suppose to follow.
As with your question from a biblical stand point, the bible makes several references to Sprits (good and bad) being on the earth with us. Yet amazingly many religious groups say it is not so or try to make something out of the references that just isn’t true.
Science likes to say that it is all tricks of the mind (an perhaps many of the experiences are). If it cannot be tested in a lab there some people that I really think would not believe anything is real.
While I think a lot of the “paranormal” experiences can be explained there are also many that cannot be. I also know there is a whole lot more in this universe that we know nothing about than any of us can even begin to imagine.
So while I am skeptical about a lot of paranormal stories (especially the ones that begin with, “we were out drinking and …”), I think there is the possibility that there are forces (for lack of a better word) trying to interact with us.

Paranormal experiences aren't for a privileged few.
If they were then the thousands of faiths that have developed wouldn't have come into existence.
It's amazing how many faiths come to much the same conclusions at an advanced level.
I'm Christian by culture and education and I'm Mystic by experience and observation. When I read materials from Hindu, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain, or any other origin I'm startled at how closely the descriptions match my experiences. I am biased to the Mysticism of love but there are other forms of Mysticism. I stay with love because it's what Jesus taught.
If you are interested in Mysticism but do not have a faith in divinity then consider Buddhism as they are intrinsically Atheist even though many would argue the point. Still it is healthy to exercise mind and body, so why not the spirit?

I am as much a skeptic about paranormal claims as I am about religious ones. I would say they are actually the same thing.
You have encountered some experiences for which YOU don't have a ready explanation, that doesn't mean it was beyond explanation.
Be questioning, and rational about everything, the same you are about gods.
James Randi still has that $1,000,000 waiting for someone that can demonstrate paranormal powers under scientifically controlled conditions

I don't believe in a christian biblical god (the sort of religious stuff you're force fed as a child) and i defiantly don't believe in the Jehovah witness version of the bible either.
I have had a few 'paranormal' experiences, They could be ghosts (soles of the dead) or aliens using a form we can relate to, or a psychic vision sent from an unknown sauce, or a form of other energy (eg: electrical fields, infra sound, radon gas, etc). I don't know for sure what they were. All i know is that i saw them & they were not malicious in any way, they were nice experiances.
Whether it was 'paranormal' or 'normal but curently unknown' is somthing for the scientists to continue to work on. :-)

It simply shows it is silly to be an Atheist everyone knows paranormal things happen yet to explain them with God is also very foolish. Science has no idea about the creation of life or the complexity of it that is why we are still mortal. I have no need for religion yet I do have a need for knowledge

I have had a number of paranormal experiences. I believe in something... But the one thing I know for certain that I do not believe in is the God depicted in the Bible.
That's just pure nonsense.
Edit:
When I say paranormal, I mean it in the following way... not the "poltergeist" way:
not scientifically explainable

I have had would could be interpreted as spiritual moments that could easily be explained by science and basic physiology.
I will never forget my trip to the Nazi death camp in Dachau. It had an spooky feeling. It was almost as if the evil were palpable. But I dismiss the feeling to my awareness of the area and what had happened.
Nothing in existence can't be explained rationally and scientifically.

Good answer, Toaster Girl.
Some paranormal are never explained. I've had two experiences that could be called 'paranormal', and both of them could be explained in a rational fashion. God has never spoken to me or given me a sign.
