I recently bought an HDTV but i dont know how to get the HDTV quality on it? is there separate equipment i need to have to get the HDTV quality i want? just i just thought i would work when i connect my DISH network to it and voila it would work. BUT it dont so help me someone? thanks

OH....DISH is ready to SCREW YOU....

First, you need $200 to Upgrade your Dish box to a DISH HD box...

Then they'll give you $10 a month back over 10 months. WooHoo.

Other than that, make sure the DISH installer gives you both HDMI and Component cables, and if given just one choice.....USE HDMI with your main source of video.

I HATE THEM for doing that to their CUSTOMERS.....

That's why I switched to Verizon Fios....

They always <> to try to keep your business AFTER the switch....but they don't offer to DROP the Install fees or reduce them to $50 (that's affordable)

To get true HDTV you need an HDTV, a hdtv Dish box, and a hdmi cable from the box to the tv.

You must upgrade to a HD receiver and HD services.

It IS $200, but a few weeks ago they had a deal where they took off $100.

Both Dish and DirectTV have great deals for new customers that are NOT available to existing customers.

with the dish network you'll need to sign up for the hd package to recieve the signals. local channels just tune in normally to recieve thr hd signal
