It seems like there must be something made up about your religion when everthing presented to support your beliefs are either half-truths or outright fabrications. I have seen you guys answer questions on this site with lies. The bible you follow is a farce, a silly story that is copied from pagan religions that existed long before your christ was born. Your bible was also altered throughout time to reflect the beliefs of the current regime. You present sources as fact that are just stupid, mindless dumbassery, and really think of it as truth. Please, save me. I want nothing more than to know there is good and justice in this evil world. I wish that in the end the good will be rewarded and the evil punished. But you really can't see the joke of your religion? Talking snakes? For real, if there is a god, your goofy *** **** is not it. Prayse Jaysus.

How did you do that? I'll bet your cat was not happy!
To answer, some people log on (such as I) just to see what others have to say. You are right in bringing to light the assimilation of foreign cultures into the Jewish religious development (Persian Dualism, Apocryphal symbolism, numerology, astrology as referenced in the book of Job, etc.). The only good end that will come is when someone can stand up and say, 'you know, I don't believe that way' and can live their life without being threatened by death if they don't believe it. The end being evil punished and good rewarded has, I believe, been every culture's dream that had a dualistic religion group.

The problem with many Christians is that they take literally what should be taken symbolically. All those old legends of the Bible as well as all those myths are just to be taken as such and things like courage, ability to forgive and faith and things like that should be derived from what those legends represent. There would not be any contradiction between science and religion of people did just that- take things allegorically, not literally.

I believe that it is known as the "Noble Lie." It is the idea that if a lie will bring someone to Christ (or keep them from leaving) then it is alright. It is a morally and theologically questionable practice. Of course, as an atheist I find the whole thing silly.

Opinions vary, and some are really presented very rudely. Believe what you choose to believe, but have enough respect for others to let them do the same.

Creationism is not Christianity. The lies you cite are proof that they value Genesis over the moral teachings of Christ. Further, their approach of rejecting reality (Creation, as they would have it) in favor of a story about Creation in a book they venerate makes them idolaters.
