Our Society says its the men that have the all or majority of responsibilities. Then why do some women say its 50/50 when its actually 100/0 or 75/25.?

well- some women won't accept this- but here are my thoughts. I think when a woman wants things to be 50/50- such as decisions being made around the house, and so on and so forth- she should be bringing some money into the household too. I'm not saying that if she doesn't work- she should convert to a brownie-baking PTA mom- but she sould mae a nice home- shoulder most of the responsibilities with the kids.... because those domestic responsibilities become a job. If ths is the case- she should accept that most o the money decisions will be made by him. Of course- when there are large financial issues in the air- the husband out of respect should always consult his wife.
Now if the woman doesn't make as much as the man- it shouldnt matter. If he makes more- it doesn't make it so that he "wears the pants" any more than she does. She works too- and shouldn't be blamed for not having the same earning power of tat were the case- same goes for vice versa situations.

Because it SHOULD BE 50/50....a woman's responsibilities are very different from that of a man....woman take care of children, make food, shop, clean; and unless you've been a mom for a day you cant know how challanging that is. I'm not saying men have an easier time though....men go off to work all day and earn the "bread and butter" so to speak, but each part is equally difficult and equally as important. The main problem with our society is that it is male dominated....so the women are over looked. This leads to the dispute over responsibilities.

It's supposed to be 50:50. Men are usually the bread winners while women take care of the house and kids but with changes in society depends on the couple and the circumstances.

It's something that you should discuss and both agree on - it will be different in every situation. In some cases, one person may work more than the other and simply have less time to help out around the house. While they should still help out some, the other person may have to pick up the slack. Regardless of gender, it depends on your individual abilities and you should both be comfortable with the arrangement. Keep in mind - as circumstances evolve, so can the arrangement.
