In the Bible, God made an everlasting covenant with the Jewish people to give them the land of Israel forever. In 2005, Bush decided to support the pulling out of Jewish people out of the Gaza strip to give to the Palastinians in exchange for peace. Bush seperated all those Jewish people from land that GOD gave them. He divided up holy land. One week later to the date, hurricane katrina struck our nation. The hurricane resulted in all these Americans forced to leave THEIR homes and go elsewhere. Coincidence? Is there a link between what happened in Gaza and Hurricane Katrina? Was this the righteous judgement of God?

Corrosion, I'm sorry for the loss of your father. However, I believe Bush made a critical mistake when he divided up holy land. God is a protector of His people with whom He is in covenant with. This should be an example to people to support Israel and STOP attacking it.

ahsoaso, the covenant made with Israel was made for the sake of the Jew's believing forefathers (Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Joseph, etc....). Jews and Israel are blessed because of them, not because of the unbelieving descendants.

Corrosion, you are accusing me of being a liar and praising the deaths of people when you don't even know who I am and what I look like. All I did was ask a question. You are judging me and making generalizations about me. I don't think your father would be proud of the way you treat people. You dishonor him. If this is what being an atheist does to you, I'll believe in God until the day that I die.

Thanks, pal. My father died as a result of Katrina. Nice to know you think it was over Israel you IDIOT.

My father was a good man. Keep it up, you'll keep the atheist population growing.

Spare me your lies about being sorry. You LOVED what Katrina did, didn't you? Admit it. It didn't affect you in the least but you got to point fingers at those of us living in New Orleans and Mississippi.

So, by your reasoning it was ok to kill a good father, husband, decorated WW2 pilot and scientist all because of Gaza. You really need help.

Perhaps.

And in 1991 when the senior Mr. Bush was in the White House another deal was brokered by George Herbert Walker Bush and shortly after another Hurricane pounded Kennebunkport, Maine.

How often do Hurricanes pound the state of Maine?

Coincidence?

I don't think so.

Pastor Art

PS: For those who aren't old enough to remember what the significance is of Kennebunkport is, that was the location of the summer White House from 1989 until 1993.

That is where the senior Bush's summer cottage is.

INTERESTING,EXCEPT. THE STORMS THAT COME ABOUT EVERY YEAR FROM THE CARIBBEAN WATERS ARE TRACKED BY THE CORPS OF ENGINEER IN MOBILE.

GOT TO STORM TRACKER AND SEE HOW MANY TIMES A STORM HAS PASSED BY AN AREA OVER AND OVER, THE SAME ROUTE 20 -30 YEARS AGO.

THE GAZA STRIP BELONGS TO THE HOLY LAND. IF THE JEWISH PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE THAT CHRIST WAS ANYTHING MORE THEN A GREAT MAN (THE MESSIAH HAS NOT YET COME) THEN THIS MAKES YOUR THEORY INVALID.

No, Katrina was "because" of a bunch of wind and complicated weather stuff. It has nothing to do with anyone's religion.

Try not to read too much into such things, 'kay?

Biblically, 'pulling out' is a sin.

it's more likely related to george herbert's failure to pull out.
