A MASS is a Catholic tradition, with pagan roots. It started during the Dark Ages.
After the Reformation of the Church, the Protestants slowly discontinued this unbiblical practice.

Bam. Beat me to it. I do find the irony of Protestants complaining about taking the "Christ" out of Christmas - or even the ones who complain about the "X" - quite amusing.
Peace to you.

We have a Christmas service...but it's not mass...
That's like saying "why do protestants want to take christ out of church"
Oh wait...Catholics do think that, don't they?

well as long as we keep the commercializations ,Santa Claus and his elfs I'm thoroughly content with it and I'm a
non-religious spiritualistic individual who can't even afford
nativity or money for presents so go figure . Maybe people just get a little too persnickety sometimes .
