Pretty much these days most of the testing has already been done. Companies who claim to not test on animals still use information that was gathered using test which were done on animals. It's unavoidable.
That's my serious answer ... my funny answer would be why do you think their called Dove for? Poor, poor doves.

no way.. unless your pointing out with the real DOVE bird (funny), ofcourse they'll test it on doves only. But i think the real Dove deodoarnt for humans never tested on animals, why would they test it on humans if its for humans. Dove company has a group of people (paid) for experiment either with good or bad results this people wont sue them because they have contracts and paid..

If I'm not mistaken, Dove is part of the Unilever company, which has been known for animal testing.

You could contact the Dove company and they would be able to confirm if it's an animal friendly product.

You can always check PETA's website. They have lists of animal friendly products. http://www.caringconsumer.com/resources_companies.asp

Well...
I use it...
And all my teachers when I was growing up said I was an animal and probably related to Satan...
And so far...
Nothing's fallen off...
(Looking down to check just to "knock on wood..."
"Yep! It's all there..."
Whew!
