Probably not much, because prescripton based meds are higher doses, but do not take any for a while so that this can get out of your system. If you took 5, and then continue to keep taking 5 every 2 hours, you'll overdose. Also, excessive medication will make the medications not work when you really need them. Luckily tylenol isn't habit forming.

That's 1000 mg.

It will put stress on your liver and while at this time may not be serious, continued use will cause your liver to break down to the point where it cannot be repaired and will be seriously damaged.

The makers of Tylenol spent huge amounts of money to inform the public. Have you not seen the commercial where the spokeswoman says "If you're not going to use Tylenol correctly, we would rather you not use it at all?"

That's how serious it is. Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, you should not take more than the posted dosage, and NEVER if you have alcohol in your system. That causes immediate liver damage that cannot be repaired. You may not see the effects right away, but you will over time.

If you have a good strong liver, probably nothing will happen unless you do this frequently. But if your liver is weakened for any reason, I'd be cautious.
Excess Tylenol is hard on the liver, so try not to overdo it.
