People know right from wrong. They don't care and require a cop out for their pathetic behavior. Much like moron parents blaming video games, movies, music, and television for the violence out there.

People associate bad with the devil, so when someone does something bad they say "the devil made me do it" I guess depending on how "religous" your really are
Its only a saying in my book and not to be taken literally.

There are consequences and repercussions to everything we do. You have the choice to make the right decisions and when you make the wrong ones they use "the devil made me do it" as an excuse.

Mostly its a lame excuse. Even Judas set himself up to betray Jesus. Still, when the time came for the dirty deed, Satan was right there next to Judas, making sure he followed through. There is a point of no return in the service of evil, and we do well to avoid it.

Nope. No matter how real the devil is, we still make our own choices. People just like to blame their mistakes on someone else.

its easier to blame someone else than to accept responsability for weakness in temptation
themselves and some people just can't help themselves
and we all know the devil does not exsist

People like to use Satan as a convenient excuse to shift responsibility for their own behavior from themselves. Yes, Satan may have tempted them, but we have the capability of resisting that. In the end, it's our choice - he really doesn't "make" us do anything.......
Satan *is* alive and real BTW....

its basically saying that you gave in to temptation, since the devil tempts people to do stuff, but it actually is the persons fault for doing it
