How can I stop my AIM from shutting down all of the time?

I don't know what I did. I tried moving my computer's location and everything. My AIM signs me off and then automatically reconnects, so I don't even notice when I do it. But my friends get mad at me because I don't get their IM's and they don't get mine. And I constantly sign on and off their buddy list. How do it stop this?! It's been going on for the past month. I even downloaded the newest AIM to see if it was just the version of AIM I was using, but that wasn't the issue. It's STILL doing it.

if your useing wireless get netstumbler it will tell you the strenght of the wireless signel.

also try pidgen you might have better luck also you can rought your other instant messengers through it so you end up with more memory free for other stuff
