i've gained a lot of weight. i went from 120 lbs to 180 lbs. and i'm only 5'4. i feel humilated by my weight. this guy likes me and he's only seen me at my heaviest. i just don't understand what a great guy like him could see in a whale like me. also, i get so self-conscious when we hang out with other girls that are skinnier than me.

maybe your really fun and nice, ya know altough most, not all guys are blinded by big boobs, nice buts and skinny chicks.....unfortunantly i think im with most guys though......and just think if he likes you now, if you lise some weight, he will LOVE you.

I'm a heavier girl myself. And don't be so self concious. I weigh as much as you and I'm 5'2.5 muscle weighs a lot more than fat, hun. Just because you wear a size bigger than some people doesn't make you ugly. Actually its healthier to be heavier. So you're not so anorexic. I think those skinny little twigs aren't as pretty. Plus personality, hun. Some guys aren't as shallow as you may think. They look at personality. Plus it's good to have a little meat on your bones. Some guys like that. Some guys aren't so shallow. Trust me. I'm a big girl, hun...and I've got a few guys who like me...and they're not as shallow as most of the guys out there. So don't be so self conscious. You probably have some muscle on ya, which weighs more. Just because the scale says something doesn't mean that it's not healthy. Like my dance teacher...she is tall and REALLY skinny...but she weighs 150 lbs because she has a lot of muscle. If you didn't know better you would think she weighed 100 lbs rather than 150. So what I'm tryin to get at, hun...don't let society tell you that it's not okay to be a little chunky...society is so damn wacked that they think that everyone has to wear a size 5 or smaller. Well damn society then. Come on, hun...be proud! Not ashamed. That self consciousness of yours, that isn't you. That is society telling you what you should be. Have you seen the new version of "Hairspray"? Watch it. You'll see what I'm talking about.

it isn't always how you look. it's mostly personality. if he likes you then you must be a great person. but if you really feel that way then lose some weight. and try not to be self-conscious. you're lucky a lot of guys can be jerks and just go for the looks. be happy =)

dont worry im the same way if he likes u then that is a good thing take that and use it to ur self dont feel self conscious it is hes thing to like u and i would ask him to go out some time like to a movie with ur friends and stuff like that but the worst thing u could do is to be self conscious

I feel ya, I'm not skinny either and my fiance first asked me out when I was heavier then I am now.
Not all guys want a skinny girl, some guys don't mind a girl with "meat".

aww i can relate!! =( i feel like that too it sucks doesnt it? but there are some guys that dont care about your weight. they see you for the person you are. and some guys are even attracted to fat girls. try not to get self*conscious tho b/c that can mess up a good relationship

if ur happy with urself on the inside then it will show ur confident with who u r and guys like that. U found a great guy who doesnt like girls for the stupid reasons like most guys!
