In my apartment - with "The Goddess":
Due to the fact its Sunday, AND we live in the Philadelphia area, we'll be listening to "The Sounds of Sinatra" with Mr. Sid Mark.
For no reason at all - and because I love and respect her, I'll give her flowers. Nothing extravagant. A very simple bunch of fresh-cut flowers.
We'll start with Mimosas [Champagne and fresh-squeezed orange juice.]!
A variety of fruit - melon balls, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, grapes and peaches.
Her favorite: A very loose/wet American, Swiss and provolone cheeses omelet with sauteed onions.
My favorite: sauteed onions, fresh spinach and Swiss cheese, using an egg substitute.
Breakfast sausage links; crispy bacon and home fries. Whole wheat and rye toast with butter and margarine.
Fresh-brewed coffee - hers: black;
mine w/ cream and artificial sweetener.
I'll cook and clean-up.
THEN we get ready for the day: She visits her children and grandchildren; I do my volunteer work at the hospital.
She has lunch with her family; I dine at the hospital with the patients.
As far as dinner is concerned, we haven't discussed that yet.
