Please do not use fingernail polish remover!!! If your glasses are made out of a material called polycarb it can ruin them. You may not see it right away but if the remover gets into the lens overtime it will cause cracking. Also, can make coatings craze and crackle. The SAFEST thing is the soap and water. IF that still isn't working use the alcohol. IF that doesn't do it take them to your optician. We have lab cleaners we can use to take markings off lenses and it removes paint and hairspray safely. Good luck!! Hopefully you haven't already damaged the coatings.

This will take it right off. Go get some finger nail polish remover that has acetone as an ingredient. Moisten a cotton ball with the remover and lightly wipe the cotton ball across the deposited surface. It will come right off. Don't put alot of pressure on the lens just a light stroke across the surface. Hope this helped.

well, if you want to use something that you have just lying around the house, i would use either glass cleaner or amonia. but if you aren't afraid to spend a litle money, i would suggest going to your optomitrist and getting the special cleaner that they have specifically for cleaning glasses. it also comes with a cloth made for the same reason.

You have about run the gamit, but have you tried rubbing alcohol? If that doesn't work, get yourself a drink of real alcohol or two and you won't care that you can't see out of your glasses.
