No child.

Christians will tell you when something they have prayed for comes about that God granted their prayer and then they will turn around and tell you when the thing doesn't happen that it was God's will.

That's right Christians, give me a thumbs-down simply for not being able to handle the fact not everyone agrees with your beliefs. That's right; I have free will.

Interesting question.
At one time I didn't believe in the things I know to be true today. There's simply no evidence to predict such a thing. As I aged events transpired that involved choices I had to make and the results convinced me.
One example was the time I was going to my dead end job where I had already been threatened with termination. At a red light I had an overwhelming feeling that I should skip work that day and go investigate some computer equipment meant to automate industry. I didn't even feel that I could get a job working with such equipment but I had to go get some information about these industrial processors. I was certain to be fired but before two hours passed I was working in a lucrative new career. I had prayed for a new job but I had to act on faith when prompted for the series of events to happen.
So many think that a prayer answered is like winning a Lottery Ticket but it's far more like getting a do it yourself kit.

On a side note the Discovery Channel had a show about cognitive researchers using CAT scans or PET or MRI equipment (I can't remember which) to map active areas of the brain and discovered that NDE (Near death experience) people have different areas active than the general population. These researchers promoted a study of hundreds of people and none matched the NDE patterns except other NDE people until some Nuns came in for scans. What was discovered was that Nuns, NDE’s, Mystics, Buddhist monks and other spiritual people use similar areas of the brain when reasoning. I'd love to see the results of such scans on Protestant ministers particularly the Television and Radio evangelistic personalities.

Believing and reading spiritual matters do not produce much results. However practicing it produce results.

Degree of result depends upon the nature and regularity of the practices.

Spiritual Practices practiced under guidance of a realised master produce results much faster.

If you read anything repeatedly, spend time contemplating it (or praying about it), and sincerely try to put what it's telling you into practice, it will have an effect that you should be able to record, yes. This is true whether you're reading the Baghavad Gita, the Bible, the Odyssey, or the business section of the Wall Street Journal.
The trick is figuring out what exactly to measure and record.

Yes, for me. God answers every prayer I pray, in His time.

Just last year, I just became engaged (I had been praying for that for years!). I was traveling with my job (I had prayed for that), and the money was GREAT. I felt I needed to be with my future husband, but I needed one more travel job to have enough money to come home to him. I asked God to work it out so I had another travel job, but could be with my husband. I got a travel job in my home town with him...and it became permanent (I had prayed for that, too). There are 4 prayers that were answered within the last 6 months. Recorded.

If you did record them would others believe them?
