it's not fair how if your passionate about something you can't do it because of your parents. does anybody know i can get into acting without my parents having to pay for training or an agent? is their a way to get a free agent? or free training? i need help my parents think its a waste and it might be but i want to do it so bad.

Audition for community theater
Start small with local theaters and school plays
That way directors can see you and if they really like you they will pass the word. A lot of child stars were scouted doing community theater.
The Olsen twins were discovered in a supermarket so don't give up!

thats excatly what i wanna do i got the same problem but you know what ask your school if they can provied plays and drama club for you to attend after that you might want to start saving money for acting school becaause for you yo have an agent you need to have traning and a resume and remeber it never hurts to take singing clases because it might help toward your actin carier lets hope we both get in to the path we want to ge to good luck if agent find you a job they take 155 of your paycheck so thier deffinatly not free lol ohh and you have to do atleast to commercials

Try to get into voice over. That would be the easier starting point and money from voice over can pay for you acting classes.

definately do community theatre or school theatre, if your just starting out then its probably too soon to be worrying about an agent, but as you get better, opportunity will knock on that door!

If I were you id get involved with everything you can, school plays, speech clubs, etc. Maybe even community theater. If you parents SEE you have talent and see your passion, maybe they will change their minds!

I really hope they dident cut the drama department out at your school too! they cut our music dept. now everyone just raps,however keisergirl is on the right page, follow her lead, if ya know what I mean
