Christ's Second Coming will mark the end of the world. The Bible however says that no one know the time when He is going to come (Matthew 24:36). Furthermore, it says He will come at an hour when people will not be expecting Him (Matthew 24:44). So we can be sure that He will not come in 2012 because everyone will be expecting for the world to end. He can come before that, or after that, we don't know.

But God does give us signs to watch for so will know when His coming is near (see websites below). And according to the signs given in the Bible, His coming is at the door.

I recommend watching the short presentation called "A Planet in Upheaval" which is the first in a series of five dealing with the Second Coming of Christ. Go to http://www.itiswritten.com/podcasts, find "The Appearing" and click on iTunes podcast.

I also recommend watching the amazing movie called "Final Events" which captures Earths' final moments, the rapture, tribulation, antichrist, etc. -- http://www.youtube.com/profile_favorites?user=AmazingFacts

No one knows when the world will end. Yes, it could be in 2012, but it could also be tomorrow, or next week, or 50 years away.
Only God knows.

You have no reason to worry either! Heaven will be so much better than here on earth! Don't think of it as dying, and never experiencing anything every again. Think of it as a miraculous new beginning! No dying, sickness, sadness. Being happy forever and ever. It will never end.

The world is not a happy place. People are murdered, some don't have food or homes, people die from sickness, and hurt one another. Heaven will have none of that. Everyone will look perfect, be perfect, no flaws.

It is too much for the mind to even begin to comprehend. So wonderful that we can't imagine what it will look like, or be like.

Yes, it seems scary sometimes, but remember that it is something to look forward to, not to dread. Even when the time does come, Christ will reign for 1000 years, with Satan bound, not able to mislead anyone. Read Revelation 20:1-6.

Read Revelation 21 and 22 also=)

I hope this helped a little!

My friend. Why you think about 2012, may be tommorow be you last day.
Any way here are some signs which happened and going to happen proving that we are near

here is an Islamic view
In the first stage of the End times the world will become degenerate because of the number of philosphical systems that deny God. Mankind will move away from the purpose behind its creation leading to spiritual emptiness and moral collapse. In the wake of great disasters, wars and suffering, mankind will seek the answer to just one question.
"Where does salvation lie?"...
Some of the sign:
The 2500 year Iranian monarchy collapsed
War broke out between two muslim nations, Iran and Iraq
Increase in Earthquakes and natural calamities
"The plague of the age" AIDs was identified
In 1982 all the Planets lined up in a row
Hole in the ozone layer confirmed
and so much more...

You poor thing-that's not something you should be worried about at 14! The Lord has a plan for all of us and as long as you believe that you are golden. Never lose your faith and try not to doubt Him. Whenever it does end, know that there is a better place that awaits you. I like to think that heaven is whatever each of us wants it to be! Live each day you have as if it were your last-enjoy the time you have today with family and friends. I'm a mother of 3 young children and the thought that I may not see them grow up to become successful individuals does frighten me,too, but I know that God has a plan for them, as well as for me and that helps a little. Pray for past sins and bring Him into your heart and soul truthfully, only He can show you the way! God Bless you and may you always stay true to your beliefs.

First off, don't be scared of any predictions someone makes about the world ending. No one knows this, the bible makes this perfectly clear.
NOW, please don't take me wrong when I say this but there is no such thing as too young to die.
A lot of people die at 14, and 13 and they die even younger than that. It's not fair, but God never promised that life would be fair; what He did promise you was that He would always be with you through the good times and the bad, even until the end of time.
If you believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, and you have asked Him into your heart, then you no longer have to fear death. Yes, someday you will leave this world but when only God knows when that time will be.

If you are a true christian than you have nothing to worry about regarding this issue. But if you are still worried remember that the founder of mormonism incorrectly predicted the end of time at least 2 times.

For many many years people have been attempting to predict the end of time. The deciples in the bible built thier churches out of wood because they thought jesus was comming back so soon, and there was no need for a long standing structures.

Dont worry about this. You at 14 have so many more important things to be worrying about. Hope this helps

The thing you need to remember is that things like months and years and days are just human calculations. 2012 isn't a universal date; there are many cultures with different calendars that are currently using completely different dates. And the world isn't going to do or not do something based on something that WE calculate. The world and the universe and everything around us just exists; it doesn't care if we call it the year 2007 or 2000 or 3427237432 or 0 or anything else. So all these end-of-the-world predictions that involve specific dates really don't make any sense.

People have been doing the 'chicken little dance' since time began. You can look at history and find several dates that were supposed to be the 'end times'.

In the biblical gospels, it says that those present at the ascension wouldn't 'taste death' or die before 'Jesus' returned. Other 'end time dates' were 67, 600, 1001, 1271, 1600, and another BIG one was the year 2000, they all came and went.

Amos 5: 18 Woe to you who long for the day of the LORD! Why do you long for the day of the LORD? That day will be darkness, not light.

Mat 6:34 do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day.

The world does not end. The year 2012 is no cause for your worry...no more than the year 2000 was.
Remember....when the clock turned on the year 2000, lots of people were expecting terrible things to happen to computers and power grids. Nothing happened. Nothing at all.
Remember, the world does not end....there is only an end to the world as we knew it. And much of that has already taken place. Much of the world as we knew it has already changed.
