i got one last year, and it took me a while to figure it out, you have to steam your milk while the coffee is still brewing. That's the best tip i have, then sprinkle some nutmeg on top enjoy:)

make the shots of expresso first then while the milk is being frothed mix in any syrup shots into the hot espresso. We put a cup underneath our milk jug so we have free hands to multitask, also buy a thermometer because the milk if it gets too hot or not hot enough doesn't come out right. Have fun!
