and for the record there are quite a number of people that were a result of failed abortions- like Beethoven for example-

Amen, they think they are getting away with murder now, but their day will come when they have to pay.

I would probably be in hell, since I am an Atheist, and would find Hitler's mom and ask why she didn't have an abortion. Seriously though, your Beethoven remark is completely fabricated. Don't believe me, try researching it and finding a reputable source and not some website run by one of Jerry Falwell's subordinates. Lastly, your question seems to be purely an attack on women who get the abortions. What about the asshole man (quite often the rapist) who impregnated her to begin with? What about the countless uneducated virgin preachers who claim condoms are a sin, but you must submit to your husband's sexual needs at all times? The hypocracy of your so-called "morality" is a pathetic attempt to guilt those who have actually thought critically about the controversial issue, and people like you, with all your ineptitude, tire me. There, I think I have made my position clear enough for you.

1) Not all pro-choicers have had abortions,
2) If a person has an abortion, that is between her and the God she either does or does not believe in
3) God is forgiving and understanding.
4) A fetus is not a child, it is a fetus. if it was a child, it would be outside of the womb.

....there are also a number of murderers, rapists, and criminals that were not aborted. Your Beethoven example is weak. I disagree with your main premise as well. While I believe there is an energy within the universe, I do not believe that it is a cognizant being. That is a myth, created to help humankind explain that which could not be understood.

What an idiotic question.

I'm Pro-Choice, but I've never aborted a fetus.

oh, and Beethoven was not the result of a failed abortion. Give your head a shake.

I don't think God will make it anymore different for anyone else that has sinned.

Abortion has been going on for a very long time. It was more than common place in the Middle Ages.....during the height of Christianity to "expose" a child to the elements if you didn't want them.

I don't tie religion to Abortion. At the same time as a male I couldn't ask a girl to carry a child that she does not want. It's her body first and foremost. But given the choice I would try my hardest to raise a child or at the very least give it up for adoption.

Maybe, but I've never aborted a child and I do not presume to judge for another how to live their lives. Unlike SOME Christians, in spite of being told very clearly not to (ahem).

I want evidence that Beethoven was a failed abortion. I'm pretty sure he was the second child in the family, and the oldest son to survive past infancy.

Don't use lies to prove your point.

Ya know, God gave us the freedom of choice and expression. I for one, am pro-choice. It's more of a political issue now than ethical, and mixing politics and religion sucketh.

You need a wee lie down, in a dark room. You'll be right as rain in the morning.

Edit: I like how the extreme lot like to brand pro-lifers as pro-war and pro this and that. I'd like to be able to judge others in that way too. I say look at yourself firstly and find your OWN flaws before judging others; you'll find yourself at it for a long time. Such a long time, you won't have the inclination or strength to judge others, once you realise how much of a tool you really are.

Just because I'm pro-choice doesn't mean I'll inevitably one day have an abortion.

And good for Beethoven but anecdotes like that don't prove something good or evil. Supposing Hitler had been aborted? Would that have been bad?

Oh... and I don't believe there will be a judgement day.

Do you really believe man can destroy a life that God has decided to create? By your own admission that child will be in Heaven. We are powerless to stop anything God decides to create.
