Hydrogen peroxide is not going to be effective for athletes foot. Instead, try an anti-fungal like lamisil. Your skin turned those colors because the cells are dying. Hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria, but it also kills your skin cells. I would think you'd be ok, but keep an eye on it- if it gets any worse, call your doctor.

I tried hydrogen peroxide on my tinea (athletes foot) and it didn't work, I tried almost everything available - including tea tree oil, sunlight, powders, creams, natural yoghurt, bleach, potions lotions and other notions.... and finally someone said "condies crystals" (also spelt condy's crystals) available at the pharmacy- aka potassium permanganate, half a teaspoon into about 6 litres of water, soak feet twice daily for about a week then once daily for a further 2 weeks and you should be cured. I haven't had a problem since and it's been over 5 years. Mine was so bad I got cellulitis in my foot - (fancy name for an infection under the skin), and they threatened to put me in hospital, I nearly lost my 2 smallest toes!!! OH HAIL KMnO4 (it's chemical name) - warning it temporarily stains your skin, so use old towels, an old bucket and don't wear short pants or go bare foot for a while cause it looks weird!! LOL

good luck i hope it works for you like it did for me - OH btw it's really cheap to buy!!!

H2O2 will certainly help, but ozonated water is even more powerful and effective. If you do a daily soak, follow by drying the feet VERY well. Rub on a mixture of tea tree oi in a coconut oil base. A 10-20% concentration should do the trick. Coconut oil is antimicrobial and helps heal skin tissues and tea tree, of course, is legendary as an antimicrobial. This same protocol will get rid of toenail fungus.
In addition, you will need to address the underlying reason why fungus invaded your body....weak immunity. Get on a good qualty probiotic such as Primal Defense and make sure you are consuming cultured foods and beverages (kimchee, kombucha, miso, etc.) daily. this will restore the friendly flora in your body that will defend against infections of all kinds.

Good Luck!

one thing you need to do is set your shoes out in the sun for at least an hour each day and it is best to switch back and forth between at least 2 different pairs of shoes, alternating days that you wear them.

athletes foot is caused by a fungus and fungus live in damp dark places... see why you have to put your shoes in the sun?

tea tree oil is a great anti-fungal treatment.
i used Pedifix FungaSoap for my feet but i had an infection under the toe nails, not just athletes foot.
i believe the soap helped me.

you can try other topical ointments made specifically for athletes foot too like lotrimin

All you need is a good nightly slathering of coconut oil. It won't sting or turn your skin red. But in about 2 weeks to a month, your athletes feet will be gone. Null and void and you will have softer feet.

Never heard of that. My husband is in the Army and all the soldiers swear if you pee on your feet in the shower it will cure it.

No, but get some overthecounter creams and they will do it. Food powder, something to kill the fungus.
