I laughed when I saw your question. It just seemed funny to me. It's all right; I don't think any harm will come to your puppy for eating a carrot. The worst that will probably happen is constipation, which probably comes as a result of his inability to digest it completely, which is normal if it was raw. Don't worry, he should be fine. But keep watch over him to make sure he doesn't start showing signs that something is wrong.

Relax! When my puppy was teething the vet told me to freeze raw baby carrots and give them to her. Most fruits and vegetables (not all) are good for dogs. Check and see which ones aren't like raisins, grapes, onions and don't worry if your pup eats carrots. Mine likes broccoli (raw or cooked), Cauliflower and even Brussels sprouts. She also loves oranges (seedless) and apples. She just had her 1 year check up and she is very healthy and ideal weight. Instead of eating a lot of junk treats she eats fruits and vegetables.

Woah! Don't worry! I give my dogs carrots all the time as treats and sometimes in their meals. Nothing to sweat about. It's not going to hurt them.
I use it as a "dietary supplement" for my old beagle...She tends to gain weight...so..I cut down on a bit of kibble and add raw carrot. She thinks she is getting the same amount of food (to chew) and she's happy. She also likes raw carrot. Dogs do not digest the way we do and carrot actually is of no benefit to their system but it causes no harm
Relax, my friend...it could have been something bad (like a whole onion or a chocolate bar...)

Worry not, carrots are fine. In fact, treating with pieces of carrot instead of dog biscuits is one of the best ways that people cut down on their overweight dog's calories.

I like these kind of questions because they have happy endings... Relax, carrots will not hurt your dog. I've given them to Collies, Shelties and mixed breed dogs... no problem!

You could see a change in bowel movements from a bit of constipation to diarrhea to seeing orange stool.

Just remember... anything taken to the extreme can cause problems. Just don't let him eat that much again.

Good luck!

Carrots aren't going to hurt your dog.. I give my dogs baby carrots all the time. I use them for treats, training, give them as a snack etc. They love them, and no one has ever had a negative effect from a carrot.

The only thing I have noticed with my dog eating a carrot is a orange tint to his poo. LOL Your pup will be fine, veggies are good for him/her.

Unless he is choking, carrots are no problem. They are good for dogs. Onions and tomatoes can be a problem in large amounts, but MAKE sure he does not ever get near chocolate.

Relax! There are people who give their dogs carrots as treats.
There is no need to rush to a vet.

Carrots won't hurt your puppy. My pomeranian loved to eat a big bowl of vegetable soup whenever we made it, and she lived a long life.
=] It's nice to know that your puppy likes his health food!
