I have a heart tatt (1 inch by 1 inch) that needs to be touched up. I want to add angel wings to it to symbolize my freedom from an abusive marriage.
Do you have any ideas for delicate angel wings or maybe a better idea?

I feel that if you are going to get a tattoo of wings for freedom of abuse, etc.. I would personally get then going in a upward direction b/c you are wanting to move forward and are free, where as wings that go down is more like you are being held back from something, are are not free. I hope this makes scense to you, b/c I feel that's the meaning of how things are positioned.good Luck and keep growing stronger!! Hope I've helped you.

I'm going along the same idea for a tattoo. Only along with freedom of my previous life, I'm looking for strength and pride in my new life and where I am going. Eagle wings fit that ideal just perfect for me. I love your idea. Turning the end of something bad into something symbolic and beautiful just for you.

Perhaps some wings like archangel Michael would be appropriate and send the message pretty well , you can easily find photos and pictures to show the tattoo artist exactly what you want : )

I`m sorry, but I can`t get over the fact that a woman who would die to have clear skin, would scar it for life with a tattoo. I guess I`m in the wrong generation.

I like your idea.
Talk to your artist and he should be able to show you some wings that will go with the heart.

sounds like a great idea ... have you thought about somehow adding "radiant" aura around it? (lightly)
