I was thinking that if i tanned while putting sunblock on my scars I would be able to fade my scars into the tan...good idea..bad idea??!! can't buy mederma because they don't sell it in Canada, so if you think my idea sucks, or you can inprove it in any way,
PLEASE let me know
THANK YOU!!!

I don't know about the scars, but you are "mullato" not "milado".
"Milado" is not a word.

Tanning does not fade scars, it just makes your skin a tone closer the tone of the scar.

They make silicone-based creams (like scarzone) that will gradually fade and reduce the size of scars.

You can also use cocoa butter or vitamin E oil (Emu oil is better, but very expensive and really you can only find it at good tattoo shops and online) and massage it into the scar for a few minutes a day. The scar will be smaller and less raised after a few weeks.

HEYY!
im mixed racial too
i have the scars too
tanning doesnt help
but tanning is bad for u anyways[im gunna try to stop starting next summer=\]
but use those sunless tan lotions and they change the color of ur whole body INCLUDING the scars and they wont ever give u skin cancer and WILL give u smooth skin
cocoa butter really doesnt help btw
i used it for 4 months and..no results
i started exfoliating my skin about a month ago and its starting to get rid of stretch marks and other scars so try that
good luck!

1] DO NOT tan your scars. They will be darker than the rest of your skin forever. You should use sunscreen on all scars under a year old.
2] VERY BAD idea.
3] Use Vitamin E and eat well, and sun protection for at least a year.

1. It's Mulatto.
2. NEVER EVER TAN. It's very, very unhealhty for you and your risk of skin cancer goes up with every visit.

I also have many scars, but I'm not light skinned. What I do use is Ambi Fade Cream which is best for women of color. My mom's Black/White and she's used it with much success.

It is different for everybody, no matter what color your skin. Scars are very hard to cover, and you do have a very good Idea. However, if I may make one suggestion, if you are going to try this in a tanning bed please use a sunblock that is safe for tanning beds. A lot of products out there are not recommended for tanning beds and can cause major burns. Just be safe.
