hi
my cat sophie is pregnant. we think she is about to pop. her nipples are big and pink and are filled with milk, down below is bulgy and she just lays down and when you pat her she meows but it isnt very loud. she is 4 yrs old and this will be her 5th litter.
can some1 plz tell me if my cat is going into labour or not?

5th litter? After this one, please get your girl spayed. She will be sooo much healthier and thank you. Your physical decription of her sounds like her time is near. That said, alot of queens will trill, squall, pant and appear to be straining once labor sets in. Others will be very settled and pretty quiet right before and while giving birth. In a warm and quiet area, just provide her with a clean box lined with newspapers that is large enough for her to completely stretch out in. Keep an eye on her as well, as some queens like to disappear and give birth in quiet, dark places. Closets, under your bed, the basement, etc. Good luck.

well.. there really isn't a way to know if your cat is going into labor until she actually starts to give birth... she will most likely try to get away to someplace dark and quiet so dont let her outside! :) congrats on ur kitties :)

1. After 4 litters, shouldn't you know better than people who can't even see your cat?
2. Do you realise how many kittens die because they can't find a home because you have not spayed your cat?

it sounds like it could be soon.you ought to get her sprayed after these as cats keep having babies it makes them weeker each time
