Been there, and done that. I refuse to wear a suit and tie, even when I am ministering.

Sure would, when it's warm enough. Our church brings in a lot of people fresh off the streets. Many of them are more comfortable because there is always everything from blue jeans to suits and ties. Most people really make an effort to wear their "Sunday Best" for Holidays and special programs, but we take them anyway they come. No condemnation. Modesty is the key, not expensive clothing.

Every third Sunday is Hawaiian shirt Sunday. Pastor and congregation. Why not? You can receive the Word of God in a Hawaiian print just as well as you can a suit & tie.
You're among family. Have a little fun!

Only if the rest of the church body was cool with it. One wrong comment and the devil would use it to start trouble.

Only in the summer. Right now it's too cold, so I'm going for the cashmere sweater!

No, but only because it might be disrespectful to the parson, priest, parishoners. Maybe in Hawaii ..... naw, I guess not.
