How long do they keep online job applications on hold?? Does anyone know?

Some companies keep the on-line job applications on-hold until the position is filled.

Some companies re-post job openings after some time if the initial posting did not get good candidates.

In Canada usually 3 to 6 months.

Depends on the company and on the position, but longer than 6 months would be unusual, and some places don't keep them on file at all if they don't have an opening when your application comes in.
