The Catholic Church says no salvation outside their church, not the Bible. The Bible says 'trust God in all His ways and He will lead your paths'.Many places in John it says 'Believe on Him whom God sent (Jesus) and you will be saved '. Paul says 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart and believe that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved.'
Jesus said 'One must be Born Again to be saved'. That is believing those things, then the Spirit of God will indwell you (with no fireworks,no tounges,no flopping around) and you are born (first of the water from the womb) again by the Spirit. Walk in those ways and God will lead you.The devil will fight you ,don't expect an easy ride. But after a while he will as James says 'flee from you'.

Basically, you need to sincerely and honestly follow your educated and informed conscience, regardless of what religion you belong. Deliberate ignorance can be grounds for not being saved. The Catholic Church claims to be the only true Church and all who are saved are saved through the Church and Jesus Christ by following their conscience as explained above. It's best to be an actual member since this is supposed to be the best way to get the help you need to sincerely follow your conscience, since all other religions do not possess the fullness of the truth. Actually, following your conscience in another religion means that the burden of proof rests on you alone before the judgement seat of God. However, God alone (not even you or the Church) is the final Judge.

The Roman Catholic Church will say that it is the only church, but others will tel you that the Bible says the "Church" is all those who have Jesus as their Savior. Those that have Jesus as their Savior ARE the church.
Acts 16: 30-31 Answers your question.
He (the jailer) then brought them out and asked "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved..."
Romans 10:9-10>>> That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Many of St. Paul's letters were addressed to churches that were in various places... Rome, Galatia, Ephesus etc.
They were "churches" because they were a body of believers. Example... Galatians 1:1-2 Paul, an apostle-sent not from men nor by man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead-and all the brothers with me, To the churches in Galatia:....
The Church is also called the Body of Christ: Romans 12:5, 1 Cor. 12:27, Eph. 1:23, 4:12, Col. 1:24, 2:19
For the strengthening of your faith, and further understanding and fellowship with other believers, I would recommend finding a church that is in harmony with what you read in the Bible.
ALso, stick with what the BIBLE clearly says, not what man or traditions say. If it is man's word versus God's, it is an easy decision!

my friend, the church does not save you- Jesus Christ saves you. To be saved you have to acknowledge that you are a sinner, confess and repent of your sin, and accept Christ as Savior- full payment for your sin, and through the power of the Holy Spirit become the person that God has created you to be. Not once in scripture does it say that there is salvation in anything or anyone other than Jesus. Once saved then you are a member of the church, the body of Christ- but the church does not save,

Salvation is a gift from God, if you have repented. If you are sincere about God then Salvation is with you every where you may go.
The Church is the the body of God, therefore respectful behavior should always be in order in His Temple.
And to have Praise and Worship should always be the beginning of a service. It sets the tone for God's word.
And take Communion.

Very good question, I think. The best advice is to keep searching sincerely for salvation and God's will (as God's will is the path to salvation).
It makes sense that those who sincerely search will find.
I went on an LDS mission (yeah - the 2 guys that knock on your door - that was me :) and we would try to find those that wanted to learn. Trying to force the church upon someone is a bad idea - but for those sincerely seeking, it went great!

You must be born again! this is what Jesus said. You don't have to be a part of a church, as in the building and pastors etc...
Wherever 2 or 3 are gathered I am in the midst.
You can have church by yourself. Remember, he is your personal savior and the church buildings, pastors, and the gathering of yourselves, forsaking not the communion with other believers, would just be supplemental, but you must be born again, is essential.
You are to work out your own salvation, not depending on anybody else.
You are to study the word for yourself and be able to test what other people say with the word.
You and the Lord work on you together. You don't need other believers. But don't have a spirit of forsaking other believers either.

For that very reason Jesus established His Church on earth. the church is NOT invisible as many "protesting" christians like to believe. In fact 2000yrs years after He instituted His Church it is CLEARLY visible (as he promised) to the whole world as a beacon of light to draw the faithful together. The Catholic Church CLEARLY states what one must do to be a member of the His Church.
The Catholic Church is the ONLY Church that exists today that was founded by Jesus Himself.every other christian church broke away in "protest" or are offshoots of these original offshoots.
its your decision to believe or not to believe.

Not to be disrespectful, but a lot, and I MEAN, A LOT, of people, so not believe the notion that you have to be a certain way in church to receive salvation.
For many, including me, my faith and my spirituality are very personal matters, between me and my God and I don't need to be in church to practice my religion.
I've known more "Sunday morning" Christians and many who say "I'm a Christian" in the sense that they're "born again." I sort of take offense, as some of these individuals act superior to me for their self-proclaimed born again status.
I don't think the Lord considers me any less religious than the "born again Christian," the Jewish lady down the street, or the Hindu friend of mine. We all worship. I'm "in the church" because God loves all of us equally.

Dear Friend,
First of all, Christianity is not a religion it is a "relationship" with the living person of Jesus Christ.
Going to church doesn't make a person a Christian any more than going to MacDonald's makes you a hamburger.
The church is not a building it is a dwelling place for Christian's to worship, fellowship and edify Christ. The church...is a body of believers; it is not a building. Jesus Christ is our bride Groom and those who have surrendered their lives over to Jesus are the bride of Christ.
Sincerely in His service,
lostnsavd...
