No, once you have the hardware installed, there are no fees unless you want to update the maps or software on the device. The GPS service itself does not cost anything.

no it doesnt. It only costs money if you want to buy the cd with the updated maps and stuff. There is no fee. If you got that XM nav traffic thing, then that probably has a fee.

Some have traffic alert features that tell you when there is a wreck or construction ahead. This does require a subscription and a fee.

But it will cost you for yearly updated map CD's. Should you require them.
Toyota updates them every year adding new streets and correcting found errors.
