This lesson refers to a metaphor. If man had not submitted to the tree of knowledge, we would all still be swinging in the trees.

The question is: How could God have fulfilled his plan in creating beings with the ability of free will, yet control their actions? Would not controlled creatures without the ability to do wrong be under control?

We were pure but don't forget we also had choice... Eve chose to be tempted and so the story goes on........ God is perfect, that's what Wisdom is, knowing the truth will never be lost, no matter what the choice is.........

Eve was perfect with the potential to sin because she had free will.Satan deceived her into thinking that GOD was keeping something from her that would make her GOD'S equal and that she would not die by disobeying her creator. She learned to late that she had been lied to.Her free will allowed her to decide whether to believe the lie she was told or to trust her Creator. That was HER fault, not GOD'S.HE allows man to make choices everyday although HE tells us which ones we SHOULD make.HE will judge us all one day.

Good observation. If free will exists, there is no god.
After-thought: Or god is pure evil. I prefer to believe there is no god.

Having free will & being pure are 2 different things.
To test someone , first you have to set rules.
