I believe in lust at first sight. Love in my eyes is something that grows over time. Only when you've come to know that person and respect them you can say you love them. You can however love the look of them at first sight, thats about it though

No.
People can meet and get talking and end up staying together "forever" but i don't even think that that is love at first sight... that is just meeting someone that happens to be someone you can be happy with and putting a romantic spin on it.
They just got lucky that there was a personality that supported the initial lust.

Yes, and, in a way perhaps I can help explain why I believe in it. I believe that if you meet someone, and that person exhibits something about his/herself, such as a smile, a twinkle in his/her eye, or a warm, soft, touch, which could very well trigger some kind of fond memory, childhood or otherwise, then I believe that it is that person, that allows you to love a part of yourself which you love most, that no one else could have precipitated.
That is the best scientific answer that I could come up with, but, as far as any mystical answer, I couldn't tell you.

My other half was talking about the Savage Garden song 'I knew i loved you before I met you' and he stated that he obviously didn't know that he loved me before he met me but he said when he met me he knew he would fall in love with me. I do believe that love at first sight exists, isn't that part of what dreams are made of???

I met my wife Pat when she was 16 and the moment I saw her I knew I would spend the rest of my life with her, I fell in love with her straight away, I was 18, I am now 61 and we are still together.

Yes, but it usually doesn't happen that way. If you think you are in love the first time you see someone it is mostly just desire or hormones. Love is something that grows and LASTS.

As much as I'd hate to admit it, I do, very much. Me and this guy i really really like... when we first saw eachother, i knew we had a connection, It's the way he looked at me..and the way he makes me feel, trust me, i used to hate guys. It's just the way he made me feel..There are many guys Hotter than him[like my friends say].. But he was the first one to make me feel special by just looking at me..I knew this wasn't 'just a crush'..
