It depends a lot on their looks, acting skills, sales skills, whether or not they have implants yet, and location. And luck, depending on how gullible and rich the guys they hook up with are. And, of course, how much they spend on booze and drugs to tolerate the jackasses they get to deal with. It also depends on the policies of the club -- some clubs require them to pay a shift fee for access to the clientele, then they keep any take; some split the proceeds.

My husband was going to a rather hoity-toity strip club; I found he'd spent $60,000 there, as best as I can tell, over the course of maybe 4 months. (Yes, when I found this out, he moved out.)

Another article I read recently was about some fella here in town who worked his way into a rich guy's confidence, then started skimming his money for his own use ... when this was discovered, they started trying to recover what they could of it, including $680,000 from his favorite stripper in 2005. (I'm amazed they recovered it... my general impression of most strippers is immediate gratification -- spending, not saving.)

There's many many clubs though and most aren't as swank/high-profile. Especially as the "girls" deteriorate, through age (30 usually approaches the end of a stripper's lucrative career, if she hasn't done herself in through other means already), drugs, booze, or other job hazards (pregnancy, disease, abusive partners, etc), their income drops off significantly, and the quality of club does also.

Why? Do you work for the IRS?

LOL... j/k... to answer your question, I worked in a strip club a LONG time ago (back when I had something to look at, hahaha), and I put myself thru college and was able to live VERY comfortably! This was in the late 70's/early 80's, and I worked 3-4 shifts a week (a shift is 4-6 hours depending on the day), and I took home an average of $800-1200 per shift... so that would be a low average of $3200 a week.

And to answer the inevitable "next" question, *ALL* I did was dance. I was NOT a whore nor did I do/sell drugs. A good looking young girl can make QUITE a killing if she plays her cards right. ;)

that really depends on the girl and how much hoeing around she is willing to do, this girl that stays at the hotel I work at all the time she is a stripper she will pull in 600 on a no hoe night and 1600 on a hoe night so do the math with all no hoe nights you would range after taxes about 150,000 a year and with all hoe nights roughly 450,000 a year. Ha thats good money as long as you understand the AIDS will get you lol

Strippers average around $60,000 per year in the mid west. They only turn in 15 or so.

This depends on how good they are and if the crowd likes them alot and they receive good tips.
Each location they strip at pays a set amount, so some can make alot where others don't make alot.
If the crowd loves a particular dancer and they bring in the crowd then the bar or establishment will pay the dancer more to come and show.

I don't want to list it here because I don't want to encourage anyone to do it...

Let me say that if guys are on here telling you not to, you really, really shouldn't. We're (I'm) trying to help.

You shouldn't go to strippers, nor become one, cause whatever they might make, in the end they loose their soul's.
