I dislike people in general. I'm disgusted by the shallowness I perceive in them and my own inability to see past my own ignorance. I have many acquaintances whom would consider me to their "friend", but in reality I believe myself to only have 3 true friends.

And to top it off, I don't mind being like this at all. For better or for worse, I don't care what other people think of me, and I don't care to change myself.

What do you advise that I do now?

Specific Examples of my utter disregard for the well-being of other people:

- During my teen years, I giggled during health class sessions when ever some attention whoring girl talked about wanting to kill herself.

- I giggle when I hear about people killing themselves.

-etc

You think why all the fuss about death and i might say you see death as a good way through- I guess you think like me since i know death is the door to meet your lord whom you have been praseing and thanking through this world because this world is just a exam so you can get your results in the next. I guess you know that when wrong is done people will pay for it in the next life and when someone is trying to commit suicide they will be alive yet again. Maybe this is your train of thought which you had not yet relized only diffrence between you and me is that i care about others and i like to help and i feel disheartned when i see people suffer. U have not undergone your trails and tribulations but sooner or later everyone dose and you will and people come out of it a better more careing person. In time an experince will change you. It will let you relate and feel the true feelings of loss and hurt because you haven't truely felt yet. In time you will.

I think it's very admirable that you recognize this in yourself. Very, very few people can honestly see themselves.

Try asking yourself if you're truly happy and peaceful the way you are. Continue reading and pondering about it, just as you are and I know that you'll come to a solution.

I tend to be kind of a loner too - Most people just make me uncomfortable - I suppose it's pride.

Why do ask what to do now? Do you want to change? You are the only one who can do that, if you want to.

But actually, as far as friends go, having 3 true friends is pretty good, above average I would say.

EDIT: Well, after reading your additional details, you're pretty much a lost cause. Oh well.
