For the most part, society comes to a consensus about what is right and wrong. That doesn't mean that they've constructed the most humane or rational moral code -- sometimes the majority is wrong. The institution of slavery is one such example. So, from the individual's perspective, I guess it's where a person's own moral reasoning meets his/her cultural code of morals.

But if you know the answer, won't you share it with us?

Without the knowledge of God , one would have no conception of right from wrong . Man is the only living being on planet earth that has the ability to determine right from wrong with a conscience , which is your soul giving you a choice to choose right or wrong ! Without God`s Commandments there is chaos , confusion , and disorientation of the facts` and the truth .

neither society nor people actually know what is wrong or right, otherwise they would have done it along time ago. The absolute truth is only found in the Holy Scriptures " the bible", people have turned good into evil and evil into good. just to satisfy their own personal lusts. But the word of God, does not change, it has remain the same since it was written. follow the word, in it you will find the answers as to who is right and who is wrong.

2 answers one is right one is not.
1.If we have a creator, chances are HE knows better what is right or wrong than we do seeing HE has more knowledge than we do.
2.If there is no creator then right and wrong is in the eye of the doer of it.Let us all have guns and live by "survival of the fittest" because eventually thats what it will come down to unless a ruling class arises that enslaves the rest of humanity in such a way that there is no escape.

ones own heart and mind determines what is right and wrong...and that's not personal opinion any more than any one Else's....

Those who say "society at large" are as delusional as any believer. You determine what is right and wrong and it is normally distributed, as any human behavior. Our primate cousins show the precursors of evolved human moral behavior in sharp relief.

Well, now, I suppose that be God now, wouldn't it?

No offense, but I've still got to have my opinion here. That is, Liberals aren't going to like God's decision concerning them, and their approval of the right of a soon to be non-mother, and her so-called right to kill her baby!

I decide what is right or wrong. To me, God doesn't exist and society may decide that a horrendous act is right. For example, just because the Nazis believed that killing all the Jews was right does not mean it was a just act. Just because a large group of people believe something to be right, doesn't make it true.

Basically the majority of the people are the one's to decide what should be right or wrong in society.

You "know" the answer? Do you have proof that you're right?

Right and wrong are slightly subjective and highly dependent on social convention. That is to say, if your "knowledge" of right and wrong are based solely on western society, it sadly lacking.
