Yeah this girl i know broke her tailbone after her brother accidentally mashed the gas in a pick up truck that she was standing in the back of. She fell straight to her hiney...Talk about someone screaming bloody murder!!!!

Actually you do not really break your butt, you might break the coccyx, which is the tailbone, the very last segment in the spinal column. It usually happens when you fall backwards, there is nothing the docs can do to fix it, no cast, no surgery. It will just heal on its on, and hurt for awhile.

Oh that hurts like hell....Talk about putting your a$$ in a sling ! I fell from a 8-10 ft. cliff/rock climbing down.. I was in high school... There's just nothing you can do but, to let it heal on it's own ! To add insult to injury it was the same year the Stallone movie "Cliffhanger" came out.. So, I was the "butt" of many jokes that weekend....

Yes, I missed the chair and landed my *** on the edge of a squared chair arm,I was sore for months barely able to walk and 5 months prego. 9 yrs later and still I can't sit longer than 15 min without going numb from tailbone down to legs

actually yes. I was about nine and fell off a skateboard that snuck up behind me and tripped me. I tried to stay off it for a while, but with a crack in my butt, it just hurt too much to think about so i slept alot. I still have a scar.

lol ummm commercial breaks are around 4 minutes long... And specific i spotted that and it somewhat is because of the fact the gang would not cheer and that they don't care whilst they see a heel hitting the face yet they cheer and bypass loopy whilst the face is hitting the heel... EDIT: For the individuals above me... Are you seriosuly announcing that faces at the instant are for little ones in user-friendly terms? LOL I knew this entire heel loving element replaced into gonna get stupid... Heels at the instant are not for adults... And it would not make you cool to love heels... Geez

At any rate, do you mean the coccyx (tailbone)? The easiest way to get a fracture of the coccyx is to fall flat on your butt, like roller skating or slipping on ice. It is very painful and usually takes a while to heal, because they can't put a cast or anything on it. It helps if you get a doughnut pillow to sit on to help keep your weight off of it. If its a bad enough fracture, sometimes they will do surgery on it.

yes and it sucked. I was in junior high on my cool cordless phone (so it was the early 90s). See - gossiping leads to bad things. I fell of my bed on my bum - it hit the hardwood floors with a thud. I had to bring a "donut" to school the next few weeks. It was not fun as I remember.

No, but I did fuse my cousin's tailbone. I pulled her off a porch that was 6 feet off the ground. She was out of gym class for two years.
