Peace be upon you.

in john14:15-16
"if u love me ,keep my commandmnents .and i will pray to GOD (ALLAH,THE ONE AND ONLY GOD) and He shall give you another comforter, that he may abide with u forever"
Muslim thoelogians have said that the comforter is Mohammed ,the Messenger of ALLAH ,and to him abide forever means theperpetuity of his laws and ways of life (Shariah) and the Quran(Book) that was revealed to him.

in john 15:26-27,
"But when the comforoter ahs cmoe whom i will send unti you for GOD(ALLAH,THE ONE AND ONLY GOD),even th espirit of truth whihc preceeded fomr GOD(ALLAH,he shall testify of me ;and you shall also bear w itness beacsue u have been with me since the beginning"
in Quran:chapter Saff(the Ranks),

And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Taurᴠ(Law) (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "This is evident sorcery!"

so,we know that both Quran and bible testify to each other
Beacsue the final prophet (MOhammed, peace be upon the dearest of Messengers) has already come so we follow only him now,the other laws are no more to be implememed .yes, whetevr is same in Quran and bible shuld be followed, why in other things bible shudn't be followed is because its followers changed it and so it contains many errors now.

hope this answers ur question.

Quran is Not the work of the God of Abraham Isaac or Jacob.
God has Never Used men who marry 9 year old girls as Prophet and The Bible does not need a " Newer" Version.
Muslims can claim all they want about Mohammad and him being the Comforter, True Christians Know Better.

Muslims believe that the Quran is the 'most recent' version of God's word, but they also respect the other prophets like Jesus (but they believe Jesus was just a great prophet, and not the son of God)

The Bible is considered valid and truthful to Muslims - it's just outdated. The Quran contains the final word of God.

So, I guess it could be considered so?

No it is not - definitely not - and don't let anyone fool you.
The Holy Bible is the inspired word of the one and only true and *living* God given to the writers by the *Holy Spirit* of God for our instruction - and for us to know and learn how much God loves us.

The Koran was a mans well meaning instruction - a mere human who no longer lives.

Mohammad is unlettered man . i will show you some thing from quran about Mary

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee and purified thee- chosen thee above the women of all nations.
"O Mary! Worship Thy Lord devoutly: Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer) with those who bow down."
This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).
Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah;

No, it does not contain the Holy Spirit but another spirit who mimics God. God who is Perfect has already written a Book

Just like the Torah, and the Bible before it, the Qur'an is a renewed message from the same God to humankind.
