In the Apple advertisements: http://www.apple.com/getamac/ads/
(you can choose one or two of the ads to compare or just make a generalization about the ads)

....what is presented about the individuals in terms of the clothes and bodies in the ad? What do the representation of these individuals suggest about the types of people that the advertiser wants you to believe about people who by PC's and MAC's? Who does the ad target?

Is this a homework question?

Obviously, the "mac" guy is supposed to be casual and fun, possibly a creative type, while the "PC" guy wearing a jacket and glasses represents a typical frustrated business PC user.

Businesses favor PC's and Windows like at a 98% rate, while musicians, artists, and publishers tend to favor Macs.

I'm sure the ad is targeting home "Casual" users who want a powerful machine that focuses on "fun" applications more than spreadsheets and pesentation slides.
